JukeboxTV Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to your use of JukeboxTV.

By using JukeboxTV, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.

1. About JukeboxTV

JukeboxTV is a digital jukebox app for Android TV.

The app allows users to browse available albums and tracks and queue tracks for playback through Spotify on a connected Android TV device.

JukeboxTV is designed for TV use and is controlled with an Android TV remote.

2. Spotify integration

JukeboxTV uses Spotify for music playback.

To use Spotify playback features, access to a Spotify account may be required. Spotify connection and authorization are handled entirely through Spotify’s own authorization flow.

JukeboxTV does not ask for, receive, process, or store Spotify login credentials.

Your use of Spotify through JukeboxTV is also subject to Spotify’s own terms, policies, account rules, and technical limitations.

JukeboxTV is not responsible for changes to Spotify’s service, availability, login requirements, playback restrictions, device limitations, or authorization requirements.

JukeboxTV is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify.

3. User accounts

To use JukeboxTV, you need to create a JukeboxTV account.

When creating an account, you may provide an email address and a display name. The display name is chosen by the user and does not need to be a real name.

You are responsible for keeping access to your device, email account, and admin PIN secure.

4. Admin and PIN-protected features

Some JukeboxTV features may be protected by an admin PIN or similar access control.

The admin area is intended for managing app setup, Spotify connection, selected playback device, and the albums and tracks available in the app.

You are responsible for controlling who has access to admin functions on your device.

You agree not to misuse JukeboxTV.

Music content, metadata, album covers, artists, tracks, and playback are provided through Spotify or related third-party services.

JukeboxTV does not own Spotify content and does not grant any rights to Spotify music or media.

Availability of tracks, albums, artists, playback, and devices may depend on Spotify, the user’s Spotify account, region, subscription type, and Spotify’s technical systems.

7. Payments

JukeboxTV does not currently describe any paid subscription or paid access model in these Terms.

If paid features are introduced later, the Terms may be updated to describe pricing, access periods, cancellation rights, and payment handling before those features are made available.

8. Privacy and data

Your use of JukeboxTV is also covered by our Privacy Policy.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your JukeboxTV account and associated app data from within the app.

Some limited technical records may be retained for a short period where necessary for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, or legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Availability and changes

JukeboxTV is provided on an “as available” basis.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app or website when necessary, including for maintenance, security, technical improvements, policy compliance, or changes to third-party services such as Spotify.

We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with all Android TV devices.

11. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JukeboxTV is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of access, playback interruptions, Spotify service changes, device compatibility issues, or third-party service failures.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of JukeboxTV after changes means that you accept the updated Terms.
